Runway Time!

So lovelies, it’s time for a new season of Project Runway, & apparently, there a couple little changes this time around.

First of all, the designers will be in teams, definitely adding to the drama. I'm not really looking forward to this aspect. I get sick of the designers being petty & just want to see their clothes!

The second change is that Michael Kors is no longer a judge. Sad, yes, but his replacement is Mr. Zac Posen. So here’s hoping he’s as quippy & hilarious as Kors was.

Now, the other day I spent some time previewing the designers. There’s sooo much talent this season, but I did manage to pick out a few favorites.

Benjamin Mach

When I was looking through photos of his work, that white, Grecian dress immediately caught my eye. It’s so elegant, along with that black and white number, but the gold dress shows that this guy has a fun side as well. I can’t wait to see he’s going to bring to the table.

Daniel Esquivel

OK, polka dots & bows? What more can I ask for? If I had a prom re-do, I’d do all I could to get my hands on that poofy, dotted piece. It’s so much fun. The bow dress is fresh & young, too, while the silver proves he can also create more “serious” things.

Emily Pollard

So elegant. So edgy. So chic. Each of these pieces have their own personality. That flowy dress is gorgeous, and that black feather dress definitely shows that Emily likes to add some “badass” to her pieces. And that jacket: very unique, but classic.

Jason Aaron Segal

So, his designs are definitely…interesting, but eventually, I realized how cool & fun they were! Bows & cats & flowers—perfection, right? And truthfully, I really, really, really want that dress. Like right now. Last but not least are those leggings & polka dot top with the gold. Very cool, right?
